Luigi Taglienti: A round trip to Liguria
Chef Luigi Taglienti’s cooking is clean, neat and sharp. Born in Savona and Ligurian to the bone, Luigi is undoubtedly one of the best talents of contemporary Italian cuisine. His journey to get there has involved collaborations with other masters like Ezio Santin and Carlo Cracco—where he learned from their passion and vision, improving his technical and traditional skills. From Liguria, he continued at the Antiche Contrade in Piedmont, then in Milan, first at Trussardi, then Palazzo Parigi, before finally opening his own restaurant: Il Lume. Open for just over a year, it already has its first Michelin star; and is considered “the place to be” in Milan. Here, at Il Marin, Luigi will present his culinary as a round trip, from Liguria and back.
Each course will be paired with wines selected by the Bertani di Grezzana winery.
