Get ready to be satisfied, with a choice of four events with four big names from national and international seafood cuisine.
The first is on May 13: the Slow Fish premiere, where the imaginary ribbon will be cut by Moreno Cedroni, two-Michelin-starred chef for his restaurant La Madonnina del Pescatore in Senigallia, Ancona.
The event continues on Thursday 14 with a touch of Spain, thanks to Barceloneta Cuina, a group of chefs from Barceloneta (a neighborhood in Barcelona) that promotes local seafood and reiterates the importance of upholding the culinary traditions of the region.
A trilogy of meals, held in the elegant dining room of Il Marin restaurant, inside Eataly Genoa, will conclude on Friday 15 with one of Italy’s most important promoters of seafood cuisine: Luciano Zazzeri from the Michelin-starred restaurant La Pineta in Marina di Babbona, Livorno.
Finishing in style, this Sunday lunch brings together two Italian regions from opposite ends of the peninsula, but united by a love and respect for the sea and cooking fish. Luca Collami from the restaurant Baldin in Sestri Ponente (Genoa) will welcome Gigi Megliola and Fabrizio Barraco, respectively restaurateur and chef of the restaurant Bastimento in Turin, which offers authentic cuisine from Salento in Puglia – the heel of Italy’s boot. The fish arrives fresh twice a week, with most ingredients purchased from small-scale producers on the Ionian coast.
