Good practices to clean the sea of plastic

Porto Antico-Slow Fish Arena

There’s more plastic than ever in the sea: how can we solve the problem?

Good practices and more efficient technologies can give us a hand. At Slow Fish we present two examples: P.Ri.S.Ma-Med is a three-year project which aims to innovate the governance and integrated management of plastic waste derived from fishing, aquaculture and leisure activities in the Mediterranean. Lifegate presents the example of Seabin, a project to remove waste from the water, including microplastics, microfibers and oils. Invented by two Australians, it’s now operating in 20 countries around the world, and is particularly effective in port areas.

Free entry while seats last.
