Fishers live in contact with the water all year round.

So if we want to take care of marine ecosystems, its important to listen to them and understand their point of view on themes like biodiversity, the climate crisis, and invasive species.

It’s even more important now that small-scale fisheries are facing greater difficulties than ever. So at Slow Fish we present a platform for fishers to share their work and the challenges they face.

These events are free and open to all, though registration is required.

Slow Fish 2023 is organized by Slow Food and the Liguria Region, with the support of the City of Genoa. We’re in the Porto Antico of Genoa from June 1-4. Sign up to the Slow Food newsletter for the latest updates. #SlowFish2023
